Cape Cadogan

The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel is a statelydouble-storeyed Georgian and Victorianbuilding that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally a farmhouse which was ‘Victorianised’ in 1912and declared a national monument in 1984.

This boutique hotel has 12 luxurious en suitebedrooms well known for its comfortable atmosphere. Our reception areas are individually decorated and designed forcomfort and tranquility. It is themed on the Irish literary figure Oscar Wilde whowas renowned for his bohemian lifestyle throughout Europe and New York during the latter part of the 19th century.

The public areas comprise a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace, a garden and pool area, and a library where you can relax and read.

The hotel also has as its presidential suitethe “Owners Villa”. The space is decorated ina similar style to the main Hotel with fabricsand textures forming a rich woven carpet were the classic old world style of Cape Townmeets the new.

The Villa is a private space which has recentlybeen opened to select guests and friends ofthe Owner.
